• Development of a Semantic Platform for math-making between business innovation needs and innovation supply. Project with Confindustria and University of Catania
• OpenGov – Development of a DSS system for decisions in the field of environmental policies in Sicily
• Data Mining for the analysis of cadastral data flows and the development of a DSS for the assessment of financial risk on loans
• Research project for the “Preparation of a screening model for the evaluation and monitoring of the processes of creation of spin-offs related to the training courses accompanying the creation of innovative companies” AREA has contributed by developing methodologies and information systems aimed at developing innovative changes in the measurement models of intangible capital of companies: the intellectual capital statement, the Intangible Asset Monitor, the balance sheet of the intangible. Development of the Information System.
• Innovation project “Knowledge Management System” system of analysis and mapping of processes and business knowledge.
• Social innovation project “Famiglia Sociale” in ATS with the A. Moravia Institute of Catania – Realization of the web portal, the networking system and a mapping system of social needs through a web platform and apps.
• On behalf of Zappalà Spa – Specialist Consultancy for ICT solutions in the field of corporate logistics and internationalization processes.
• AREA collaborated in 2010 with the University of Catania within the national research project funded by the Ministry of Scientific Research and Technology PRIN 2007, title of the project “Tax fairness: perception and behaviour of taxpayers” by providing a service of collecting and processing data on scientific tests aimed at the study of behaviours in reaction to innovative inputs in the choice options of taxpayers.
• AREA has collaborated in the development of the research and innovation project funded by the Regional Province of Caltanissetta – “Creation of an information kit to support decision-making models on the factors characterizing the agricultural sector of the Regional Province of Caltanissetta“. Implementation of a DSS through net analysis.
• AREA collaborated in 2010 with the Centre for Research in Business Administration – CERIECA providing consultancy support for technical assistance activities on Community funds with a focus on the analysis of the RDP 2007/2013 action lines in the field of technological innovation.
• AREA collaborates with the Science and Technology Park of Sicily in the research project “Marker-Pro Identification of quality markers in tomato-based preserves” within the intervention line 4.1.1.1. of the PO FESR Sicilia 2007 – 2013 – Development of technology transfer activities and development of an ICT platform to support internationalization and technological auditing.
• AREA collaborates with the Science and Technology Park of Sicily in the research project “PAD4PC – Poly Approach to Dematerialization for the Clinical Process – The Enterprise Resourse Planning for clinical efficiency” within the intervention line 4.1.1.1. of the ERDF OP Sicily 2007 – 2013 – Development of technology transfer activities and development of an innovative communication plan, dissemination and exploitation of research results.
